Bibiré is a contemporary luxury brand creating bold, expressive clothing for women who want to look extraordinary and still feel completely like themselves.
Our name means "a good heritage is priceless." And for us, heritage is bigger than a particular fabric or aesthetic. It is where we come from, what we know, how we dress, how we make, what we carry with us, and what we pass forward.
We believe in the power and joy of dressing well, in beautiful clothes, unforgettable silhouettes, incredible fabrics and that feeling when you look in the mirror and simply know you look good.
Luxury can be joyful.

OUR STORY
Bibiré was founded by Busayo Shittu in Nigeria in 2010, before establishing its U.S. business in 2020.
From the beginning, Busayo believed that clothes could change the way a woman carries herself. Bibiré's original philosophy, "Brings out the celebrity in you," was never about fame. It was about presence: knowing you look good, walking into a room feeling seen, and allowing yourself to enjoy being the woman worth looking at.
After moving to the United States, that purpose became even more personal.
Busayo saw women building careers, raising families, navigating motherhood, marriage, immigration and the responsibilities of everyday life. Sometimes, in the middle of it, she loses touch with the part of herself that simply enjoyed getting dressed.
That experience isn't unique to women who've moved countries. It happens everywhere, for many of the same reasons. Responsibility doesn't require a woman to disappear. She can still dress. She can still celebrate. She can still be seen. A woman doesn't need a connection to Nigeria or to Africa to understand these clothes, or to want them. The journey shaped why Bibiré exists. It was never meant to decide who Bibiré is for.
Bibiré became a reminder:
She is still in there.
Some days she already feels unstoppable. Some days the right clothes help her find her way back to herself.
We dress both women.

CRAFTSMANSHIP & QUALITY
Bibiré is designed in the U.S. and produced and hand-finished in Lagos by our production team, predominantly women.
We work with the fabric the design deserves, from Aso-oke and Mikado silk to chiffon, velvet, mesh, brocade, sequins and more.
Fabric, construction, fit, finishing and movement matter to us. So does comfort. Our clothes are designed for women to actually live in: to sit, eat, walk, dance, travel and celebrate without choosing between feeling comfortable and looking extraordinary.
Our collection is designed in sizes US 6–26 as one collection.
No separate fashion story for larger women. No watering down the drama.
Same design. Same drama. Same respect.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
Designed to be seen.
Bibiré is bold by instinct.
We love:
- Dramatic proportions and statement sleeves
- Beautiful fabrics and rich colour
- Draping, ruching and movement
- Structure and thoughtful tailoring
- Embellishment, texture and unexpected details
- Clothes that understand and flatter women's bodies
But drama is never there simply for drama's sake.
A sleeve can create presence. Ruching can redirect attention around the midsection. Draping can flatter and create movement. Volume can transform proportion. Colour can make an impact before she says a word.
Boldness is an instinct. Intention is the discipline.

FROM LAGOS TO THE WORLD
Bibiré was born in Nigeria. Our founder is African. Our clothes are produced in Lagos. Naturally, where we come from has shaped how we understand colour, celebration, occasion, volume and the pleasure of dressing well.
But we don't believe African fashion can be reduced to a print or a particular fabric.
The fabric doesn't make us African. We do.
Today, Bibiré continues to grow from its Nigerian beginnings into a global contemporary luxury brand, without losing the boldness, joy, craftsmanship and humanity that made it Bibiré in the first place.
